MKDAD Open Art Exhibition

An exhibition showcasing recent artworks by local artists who identify as disabled.

Each year Milton Keynes Disability Awareness Day (MKDAD) brings together communities across Milton Keynes, inviting us to re-imagine the way society views disability. This exhibition of recent artwork showcases the talent of local artists - all of whom identify as disabled.

We hope to raise awareness of the artwork that disabled artists create regardless of the limitations that society places upon them. We also hope to challenge perceptions and reduce stigma surrounding both physical disability and mental health.

The exhibition features artwork from an open call and also works created on programmes delivered by disability arts groups at Arts for Health Milton Keynes, Camp Hill Milton Keynes Communities, Headway Milton Keynes and MK Snap.
