Julia Ball

The hospitals art collection features four artworks from the Yellow series by Julia Ball.

A Cambridgeshire based printmaker and painter the artist is inspired by the Fenlands of her home county, which echo the joyous yet subtle use of colour, shape and abstraction within her artworks.

The prints can be viewed together on Level 1 of Milton Keynes University Hospital between wards 2 and 3.

Julia Ball (b.1930) and studied at Reading School of Art. She has lived and worked in Cambridge since the early 1960's.
