Art can help people with dementia to override the stress and confusion of memory loss.

The Arts and Dementia workshop series offered a relaxed environment and the chance to try your hand at a variety of different art techniques at your own pace. The workshops were supported by a team of volunteer artists able to give 1:1 Support to participants where needed. Carers were also welcome to take part. The works shown here were produced by participants and their carers over the course of a few months.
