During lockdown Headway Milton Keynes art group have continued to meet online, the groups first project was to drawing a still life, choosing objects from around the home to draw, such as these by Sarah.

Love it or Hate it (2020) 30 x 30 cm, mixed media on paper, £25

The group then created another project inspired by Andy Warhol, the artist ‘chose to draw a jar of marmite because people either love it or hate it!’

About the Artist

Sarah Trumper is an artist living in Milton Keynes and is a member of the Headway Milton Keynes art group. The group usually meet for weekly art sessions at the Headway offices, with support from local inclusive artist Sophie Bennett. During lockdown the group have instead been meeting through an online community, creating artwork together, responding to set themes and projects, sharing their creations and providing valuable interaction and support for one another.

Headway is a national charity supporting adults with acquired brain injuries and their families.
